Doug Marrs Defensive Coordinator
Coach Marrs is entering his twelveth year with the Rams as Defensive Coordinator, and he works specifically with our OLBs. Coach Marrs has 43 total years of coaching experience, and he brings a lifetime of experience to the Rams after serving as the head coach at Graham High School in Bluefield, VA. He graduated from Graham High School in Bluefield, VA and went on to attend Bluefield State College. Coach Marrs was honored as the 2005 VHSL Assistant Coach of the Year and was selected as a 2006 East West football coach. Coach Marrs says "Tough love is the best love."
Erik Teague Head Coach
Head Coach EriK Teague begins his first season as leader of our Mighty Rams this Spring of 2023. Coach Erik Teague has spent the past 11 seasons, as an assistant, coaching our Rams as Offensive Coordinator and working with our quarterbacks. Erik has 13 total years of coaching experience... 2 of those at George Washington High School in Danville, VA. He is a former Ram player, graduating in 2006 after leading the Rams to a State Finals Runner Up in 2006. Coach Erik Teague earned NC Preps All-State recognition in football and baseball in 2006. Erik went on to play football for Methodist and earned All-Conference recognition in 2010. He is definitely following in his father's footsteps.
Jimmy Teague
Former Head Coach, Jimmy Teague, led the Rams to eight NCHSAA 2A state titles and is the winningest coach in Reidsville history. Coach Teague was selected as the Head Coach of the 2019 NC Shrine Bowl Football Team and was recently inducted into the NCHSAA Coaches' Hall of Fame in 2023. The Rams home field at Community Stadium was dedicated as Jimmy Teague Field in 2022.
Steve Knowles Defensive Line Coach
Coach Knowles has been coaching our Rams for 36 years; his entire coaching career! He loves coaching the guys in the trenches and specializes on the D Line. He also coaches the RBs, LBs, and DEs. Coach Knowles attended Chowan College and played football on the offensive line. Coach Knowles says "I Bleed Blue & Gold!"
